Erik van Herwijnen

Founder of the Turnpoint organisation in 1985. Economist Erasmus University, Rotterdam. Prior to launching Turnpoint, he spent 8 years with Royal Volker Stevin of which 4 years as officer responsible for corporate acquisitions and 4 years as financial director of the civil engineering division. From 1964-1977 he served with Royal Van Ommeren (transport & terminals) in Holland, the UK and France.

Gerrit van Reeth

Degree in Economics and Post Graduate in Computer Science at the University of Brussels. Master of Accountancy and Finance at the Long Island University of New York. After a career as financial consultant and director of several companies during the last 15 years in different branches such as banking, transport, I.S. and automobile industries, he joined Turnpoint in November 1998.

Pierre Raynal

Studies: French Literature at the Faculty of Arts (Sorbonne, Paris), completed by a degree at the Institute of International Trade, Paris. Prior to joining Turnpoint in 1999 he spent 9 years with Kühne & Nagel in France and Overseas (Egypt as Group Delegate) and 11 years with Royal Frans Maas as Managing Director of the French subsidiary.

Dr.-Ing. Chemical Engineer, Technical University Darmstadt Economist, Westfalen Acadamy Essen Prior to joining Turnpoint in 2003 he was Partner of M&A International GmbH, Kronberg (Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance). He spent 12 years in leading positions in operating divisions and staff in the chemical and mineral oil department with Texaco / RWE-Dea. Before moving to M&A International GmbH he worked from 1989-1998 in the general management as Geschäftführer with the automotive supplier Keiper Recaro Group, Kaiserslautern.

Bill Ridenour

Bill is the founder (1999) and President of Polymer Transaction Advisors, Inc. ("PTA"). Bill has 25 years of consulting, merger/acquisition and strategic planning experience in the polymer industry and has personally advised on more than 60 polymer business sales, acquisitions and strategic alliances around the world. Bill was formerly a partner in The Transaction Group ("TA"), a Cleveland based M&A advisory firm from 1990-1999 during which time he established and grew a practice in the polymer industry. Bill was previously employed at Ferro Corporation from 1981-1990 as a corporate development executive during which he was responsible for managing Ferro's global business transactions.

Cornelis van Vessem

Graduated in Economics and International Studies. Joined Turnpoint in 1994. He spent 15 years in the City working for Williams & Glyn's Bank, Dresdner Bank and finally ING Bank. At ING he established the M&A department and has operated in this sector for 10 years.
